Homemade lip balms don’t have a long shelf life. After you make a batch monitor for any change of smell or texture then dispose of the spoiled item. Using lip balm should be apart of your daily beauty regime. Create a routine where you do your facial regime and add lip balm to go to bed. This will allow the ingredients to work overnight.

Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoons coconut oil
  • 3 teaspoons beeswax pellets
  • 3 drops Sweet Orange essential oil any scent you wish
  • Lip Balm Containers
  • Glass container for mixture

Instructions

  • Combine the appropriate amount of coconut oil and beeswax in a glass container.
  • Put the container in warm water and stir till mixture is melted together
  • Stir in chosen add-on ingredients for flavor until well combined.
  • Quickly transfer the mixture to the lip balm container pots and allow it to set. You can quicken this process by placing the pots in the refrigerator.
  • If your essential oil lip balm gets too warm, it may liquify. You can reset it by popping it in the fridge for 10 minutes.
