Confidence is a state of mind? I believe it is, however it does take some time to get to that place when you feel like your confidence is at an optimal level. As such finding ways to improve your confidence will take you a far way with being positive, enjoying your life and reaching that place you aspire to be emotionally.
Visualize Yourself as what you want to Be
Start acting like who you want to be. Practise visualizing a fantastic version of yourself that you can be proud of.
Affirmations are powerful, uplifting statements that we say to yourself. If we constantly tell yourself out loud positive statements, we will believe it.
To get your brain to accept your statements quickly, phrase it in a question. Our brain is wired to seek the answer regardless of the question.
Do one thing that scares you every day
The best way to overcome fear is to face it head-on. By facing fears, you build confidence for experiences.
Question your inner self doubting voice
Some of the hardest comments that we get come from yourself. By questioning and looking for evidence to support or deny the negative things that our critic is saying to you, you will automatically be thinking positively.

This involves making crazy requests over 100 days to make people reject you. This desensitizes you to rejection and builds your confidence while having fun.
Set realistic expectations.

Learn to say no. Be more assertive and learn to ask for what you want. The more control you have over your own life, the more confident you will be.

Instead of seeing others as better or more deserving, see yourself as equal to everyone. No one is better or more deserving than you. Shifting your mentality to an equality mentality will improve self-confidence.
